Our mission

Helping women experience the redemption of Christ by discovering God’s truth and allowing it to transform their lives.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! What is Woven?

Woven is dedicated to helping women experience the redemption of Christ by discovering God’s truth about every area of their lives and allowing that truth to transform them. It is our desire to support and partner with ministry groups by providing a retreat, conference, or large group experience designed to move participants toward a deeper understanding of God’s truth and a fuller realization of what it means to be redeemed by Christ.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

What We Believe

We believe in one eternal God, the creator and sustainer of all things. He exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. God is all knowing, all powerful, completely just, full of wisdom, perfect in love, abounding in grace and mercy.

We believe the Bible is the flawless, inspired, living Word of God. The Bible is our source of truth and authority, our guide for life.

We believe that every person has rejected, neglected, or rebelled against God. This is called sin and separates us from God. No human effort can bridge this gap.

Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9

We believe that Jesus Christ is the perfect, sinless Son of God, fully God and fully man. God sent his Son to earth to die on the cross in our place. The shedding of His blood as payment for our sins provides the only way for us to be reconciled to God. This ultimate sacrifice creates new life eternally for all who believe.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the divine third Person in the Trinity. He makes us aware of our need to turn from sin to Jesus Christ and enables us to make this decision. He baptizes, indwells, guides, comforts and empowers believers to walk in obedience to God. The Holy Spirit divinely illuminates and teaches God’s Word.

We believe that Jesus will return to earth one day and everything will be brought under his control.
